Charlie Horse is a seven piece funk, blues and jazz band. The standard lineup is Drums, Bass, Congas, Organ, Trumpet, Trombone and Guitar. Playing the music of Grant Green, Kenny Burrell, Lee Morgan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Herbie Hancock and more. The band always gets a great response, it seems the music resonates with a wide audience, in particular, those who like to dance. The band has been together since 2001, playing all of Brisbane's finest funky venues in both Westend and Fortitude Valley. With an added option of vocals this funky band is perfect for both private and corporate gigs.
