AZULjazz...

are a collective of Brisbane based musicians who have built a solid foundation playing over

the last 5 years.

Azul are a flexible unit starting with a

2 piece of Guitar- Warwick Hargreaves & Double Bass- Nick Quigley

3 piece, add Vocals- Tina Fullerton  

4 piece, add Drums- Dave Cotgreave

5 & 6 piece, add Horns- Trumpet & Trombone for a swinging big band sound.

Azul like to focus on groove & breathe  new life into jazz standards with their soulful interpretations of ballads, blues & up-tempo swing numbers as well as exploring original

sounds & creating a mood suitable for any occasion.

Azul are darlings of the Swing Dance scene & have performed over 100 gigs for 

Brisbane City Council public events as well as playing many International Hotels, Jazz Festivals, Clubs, Pubs, Restaurants & Cafes. Their reputation & rapport is steadily growing as they continue to reach new heights.
