Dave Spicer Trio
Biography
Dave Spicer Trio isn’t that band consisting of 90 year old retirees with a banjo, clarinet and a guy who seems to be continually taking a washboard solo.
Nor (on the opposite end of the spectrum) will you find some loud, fiery acid jazz blaring 20 minute tenor sax solo. The trio is pure class, worthy of the international stage.
The trio has a beautiful acoustic sound which is elegant and modern, all at the same time. It’s a bubbling energy which is exciting to listen to but can also be appreciated as the background soundtrack to your event, like the most glamourous and charismatic hollywood jazz club scene.
If you’ve got a Grand piano at your upcoming event this is a no-brainer.
Book the trio! It’s not only great to listen too, but nothing shouts class more than a cultured jazz trio performing on an aesthetically pleasing, simply stunning grand piano.
The trio will perform beautifully arranged instrumental versions of all the classics from the great American songbook and on request can expand the line-up to add a vocalist or frontline instrumentalist to add musical diversity to the evening.
This band will ensure people talk about your event for months to come.
