Tamara O'Callaghan

Tamara O'Callaghan is an accomplished singer, performer and musician based in Brisbane. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Jazz Vocal at the Queensland Conservatorium. 

As a singer, Tamara has forged a career that is already established at corporate functions, weddings and clubs. She has played at a number of venues including the Brisbane Jazz Club, Suncorp Stadium, and the Queen St Mall. She was one of the featured vocal jazz artists in the 2010 Brisbane Festival and has recently sung as the feature artist for QPAC Green Jam.

Tamara has experience in many areas of contemporary music including Musical Theatre, Pop and Country but she loves to sing Jazz most of all. A few of her main influences are Jane Monheit, Stacey Kent and Tieney Sutton and classic leading ladies such as Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. 

While she continues her studies, Tamara also works as a vocal teacher and she is a member of the newly assembled vocal Jazz group ‘Continuum’.
